"It was a great way to take a break from busy cities. It was so relaxing we ended up adding an additional day to our stay. "Another great stay at Easyhotel Zaandam. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Room was clean with lots of hot water in open shower. Nothing fancy about the room with just liquid soap dispenser, no hand towels and no closet or storage for luggage or clothes. But I still like it here and the ease of walking to shops, bars and restaurants. Train is only 4-5 minute walk. Its just a quiet, comfortable place with friendly people."

"I could not fault this hotel, the location was excellent, room was lovely and clean, we were given a free room upgrade, it was quiet and the bed was very comfortable so got a good nights sleep. We landed early in Amsterdam, we went straight to the hotel with the intention of leaving our cases but the room was actually ready so we were able to check in several hours early, we were also able to get a late check out as my boyfriend needed a quiet area to do a job interview on teams! The staff were all friendly and couldn’t have been more accommodating, they had also provided us with sweets in the room for my boyfriend’s birthday. This is possibly the best hotel stay I’ve had and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! "
"The hotel is 5 minute walk to the train which gets you to the Amsterdam Centraal station in 6 minutes.
The hotel and rooms are modern with comfortable beds, although they are not very spacious.
We opted for the buffet breakfast which was excellent.
The staff was very nice and courteous.

"The Grand Hotel Amrâth is an incredible historic hotel. It is very centrally located near Central train station. My room on the 3rd floor had high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the canal. Absolutely gorgeous! They have many original museum pieces from when they were a shipping house in the early 1900’s. I truly enjoyed my stay. I would say my only complaint would be that they did not have a ramp to bring luggage up the front stairs. The bellman does help if he is waiting in front but if not, pretty challenging. Have some great videos of my room but unfortunately won’t upload on the site "
