The people at the front desk could be a little more friendly (a bit rude and cold at times), but the servers and the other staff at the hotel were very helpful, welcoming, and hospitable. Still 5 stars all around. "

"First time in Agadir and first time in Morocco. Had an absolutely wonderful time at the Sofitel. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The pool area is beautiful, and the hotel has its own beach area looking out onto the promenade with a sea view. The nearest shops and other restaurants are a bit or a walk but you don’t really need to leave the hotel. Souk El Had was a 50MAD taxi ride away. There was lots of options at the breakfast buffet- I’m missing the fresh bread! Would definitely stay again for a relaxing holiday."

"This hotel is beautiful. My husband and I have just spent two weeks at this hotel. It is spotlesslessly clean, and the staff are wonderful - engaging, polite and happy to do anything for you. The hotel is perfectly situated near the beach so there is a constant coastal breeze which helps to take the edge off the heat. There are 3 restaurants - 1 a la carte specialising in Moroccan food, an Italian and International buffet style. There is plenty of food to suit all tastes but it what was really pleasing was it never felt over full and food is replenished constantly. Lots of fish and seafood, including sushi and oysters too ! The spa facilities were lovely and the back massage and reflexology treatments were bliss. There are plenty of sunbeds and sofas, several pools and jacuzzi's so definitely no over crowding. The lobby bakery is lovely for a mid morning coffee and cake stop. Our only criticism is this hotel is billed as ultra all inclusive but international drinks came with an additional price tag - although we were offered a 10% discount ! Given the money spent on the booking, we wouldn't expect to pay anything more. Also, the need for plastic wristbands ??? Again, not expected of an ultra all inclusive hotel. Would we return - absolutely ! "

"We got upgraded to a bungalow. A bungalow is a must to have to experience the beautiful scenery while relaxing on your hammock. We spent most of our time at the hotels amazing beach setup having a relaxing beach vacation. All the staff was amazing and attentive cause it’s not those huge resorts so making it feel more personable . Taghazout is a beautiful peaceful quite happy clean chill surfing vibe town with soft golden sand. 6 min walk on boardwalk to the town which was nice chill beach surfer vibes and safe and clean. The food quality was below expectations, and lunch service was delayed by over 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the male reception staff were neither welcoming nor professional. We were also overcharged by 30%, despite booking through Expedia—and our check-in was delayed. It was clear that guests booking through third-party platforms like Expedia were treated differently, even though we ended up paying more than the standard rate. While the facilities and rooms were decent, the poor customer service, unjustified overcharges, and subpar dining experience made the stay disappointing. This hotel lacks value for money, and I would not recommend it unless major improvements are made in service and guest relations."

"This is a perfect place to spend a few days relaxing if thats your thing - and it is mine. The rooms are incredible (we had a junior suite and I was really impressed) the ambience of the public spaces is warm, friendly and convivial and the staff are stellar -particular shout out to Rida in the restaurant who hit the balance being professional and attentive at all times and personal and warm when the opportunity arose. It was particularly amusing to find some of the most beautiful and friendly cats wandering around the hotel alongside a fat and friendly labrador and can you believe it... five tortoise All in all it was a top stay"

"Beachfront resort (private section for hotel), large but low-rise accommodation surrounding large pool, with other smaller pools, including a mini waterpark, three a la carte restaurants (booking expected), huge buffet hall with many rooms, four bars including pool bar,... Most guests are on all-inclusive and there is a great choice of many cuisines and menus. Rooms are spotless, well equipped and modern. Comfy beds, smart bathroom, sky tv ,safe, minibar fridge. Great relaxing holiday."
