"Hotel Cassendra was a real find. The staff were so lovely and really couldn't do enough to make my stay more pleasant. No question or request was too great or small for them. It is up a steep hill so.wpuld make quite a hike from Kandy but its maybe 300 rupees in a tuk tuk to get up. Very easy to walk down into Kandy however, and it also passes the viewpoint. When you get to the Royal park, there is a lane to the right of it and that ia a handy shortcut into town. It's honesly only a 10min walk. Rooms were lovely, really smart. Breakfast a little limited but it did vary each day and there was something for everyone. Overall it was just great value for money and nice to be set back a little bit off the main drag in Kandy. "

"Sidath was our waiter and made our stay so special - he was wonderful. X Jeethm- looked after our every need by the pool . He was very attentive and pool was sparkling clean . Highly recommend this place to stay in Kandy- all staff were amazing . Thank you for looking after us so well . "

"we had a lovely time in Galway Heights. We really liked the location in a small rural road close to a hindu temple and small village and in the tea plantations. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff very attentive. The only grievance was the lack of elevator. We would definitely recommend this."
