HOWEVER, the welcome was warm and friendly. Between my poor French and the receptionist's broken English, we understood each other!
The hotel was clean and tidy. There was a lovely court yard garden, with the rooms around.

"This was a reasonable place to stay in a somewhat out of the way part of France. If you are interested in lutherie and the history of mechanical music Mirecourt is a very interesting place to visit. However a stay in Contrexeville or Vittel might provide additional places to see and visit.
The spiral staircase inside Le Luth offers a challenge if you are almost 79 and have large suitcases. Nonetheless, a comfortable place to stay for the night and a nice breakfast in the morning."

"The property was clean, staff were very helpful. I became ill, saw a doctor and needed an emergency phamacy - the staff assisted with this giving us directions to an emergency pharmacist in the area. Also, assisted in being able to stay an extra night for me to recover. Only down side was the restaurant was not open during the weekend. "
