"The apartment was very roomy. It is a little off the beaten path so I would recommend stopping in a near by town to get groceries before going to check in. "

"Loved everything about the hotel and the area.
Charming, friendly staff. Great Guinness and food.
The rambling but well thought out bars, restaurant and outdoor areas made you feel at ease and the staff / owners were amazing.
We shall return "

"Lovely location and a range of facilities. Dining room is a bit of a barn and could do with cleaning the windows so you could enjoy the view more. Helpful staff."

"Family run comfy B&B made myself and friends feel most welcome. I would not hesitate to stay here again, if I’m in the area. Breakfast was very good, and plentiful - great way to start the day. "

"One of the best trips we've ever been on. The food was impeccable, the service was outstanding, and we were made to feel so relaxed and like nothing was any bother. A truly luxurious experience with so many eateries to choose from - all serving brilliant food at fair prices for the excellent quality. We're already planning our trip back!"

"Lovely serene stay away from the busy towns. Comfortable beds, tea and coffee supplied. Very spacious room and bathroom. Lots of walking tracks nearby. Peaceful views to the hills. Flooring not even. Would recommend just for the tranquility. "

"Very nice reception and bar but rooms are a bit grubby, the doors don’t lock properly I couldn’t relax as my 2 year old coupe open the door very easily even when locked with the key turned in the door, very friendly staff."

"Wish I had taken photos as hotel doesn’t live up to the standards of the images that you see on Hotels.com quite rundown thread bear carpet chipped furniture. But room was clean and very quiet.
If you like a hard bed, this is the hotel for you and hard pillows
That is close to the motorway and near to Dublin and the Wicklow mountains not a bad place to locate"

"No doubt this was once a fantastic hotel, it exudes charm and quality but everything is now a bit tired. Positives - nice comfy bed; loads of parking and food was pretty good. Negatives - wifi unreliable, TV was limited and constantly broke up. Most annoyingly woke one morning to having no hot water...mentioned it to reception on the way out and received little more than a shrug!! Drinks were eye-wateringly expensive which made eating in an expensive option even for soft drinks."

"Venue and staff were excellent. Food was great.
Parking is hit and miss as on street and metered (very cheap for location- 50c an hour or €5 for all day. Problem is meters are frequently out of order so you cannot pay for bay. "
"The hotel exceeded my expectations. I was in a good mood the whole time. You could not ask for a better location right next to the Glendalough sites, plus reasonable rates. Although my room was small, it was cozy and had everything I needed, plus a lovely view from the sizable windows even though it raced north toward the road. My only complaint about the hotel is that the front desk is not staffed 24/7 (I think it closes at 8 or 9 PM), which might create some anxiety for those returning late. I also read really bad reviews about the hotel restaurant, so I ate dinner elsewhere. However, the included breakfast was fine. I didn't see a fan or way to open the windows in the room, so I imagine it might get a little hot during warmer weather."
"I’m not an experience traveler by any means but Christopher is an outstanding host. I felt well cared for and all of my needs were met happily. The room was lovely and well kept. The breakfast was outstanding and plentiful. I can’t recommend the Tudor Lodge highly enough. When I return to Glendalough I will definitely be staying at Tudor Lodge. "
"All the staff are really friendly and helpful, the bed was the most comfortable I have EVER slept in ! the room was really well appointed and spacious only spoilt by the lack of view
