"A surprisingly pleasant stay despite initial impressions outside and the general location. The rooms, there were 4 of us, were very spacious and had everything we needed. A nice breakfast was included. The only real negative was we didn't know there was no restaurant service Fri to Sun....we arrived Fri for 2 nights. Staff helpful."

"Great place and views and food. Some reception staff, not all, seemed to resent questions, even though we are Spanish speakers. Carpets are terribly stained for such a nice place. Restaurant staff were great. We would stay again."

"We did not stay there because the information in the site was that this place is 6.1 miles from posada de valdeon which is misleading and since no one in the hotel could communicate with us in English when we called. Therefore we told the hotel that we want to cancelour stay and wish to obtain refund if we were charged. We are hoping that hotel. Com will take a good care of this issue.

Maribel, Goyo y sus hijas, son encantadores, nos dieron muy buenas recomendaciones de ir por la zona y te hacen sentir como en casa.
No sirven comidas ni cenas, hay un pueblo a 2 km con restaurante, o si quieres puedes llevar comida de fuera y comerlo ahí.

"Wonderful traditional hotel in a stunning part of the Picos de Europa. Getting there is an event in itself; after you've passed through magnificent scenery, you're faced with a winding road to the top of the mountain, passing through two tunnels.
Once there, you're on the edge of a charming village, and although the hosts speak little English, we both got by with the help of Google Translate! The hosts do everything they can to make you feel welcome and at the heart of a traditional Spanish home.
Excellent walking from the hotel, stunning views and amazing home-cooked local food. Delicious breakfasts and evening meals – make sure you experience the restaurant.
