"My single room was small but perfectly appointed. The bedding was very comfortable, and I liked having a desk in the room. The shower was also nice with good water pressure and hot water. The hotel lounge was lovely and the bartenders were polite. The location is perfect for walking anywhere you need to go. My only suggestion would be to skip the breakfast, there are too many better options nearby. "

Didn't like: difficult computer check in after long flight/disorienting. Nice staff member who was very helpful but helping multiple people at once. So, the check in took a long time. "

"Location is good, but there's no reception and it's not that easy to get a hold of anyone. Also there's no elevator, I had to carry up and down our heavy suitcase myself."

"A nice property with a courteous staff. The room was small but well designed. The hotel is located in a very good location, adjacent to a tram stop that takes you right into the Old Town section. Amenties such as a liquor store, gas station convenience mart and a full market were within easy walking distrance. Additionally, a short walk in the other direction led us to a nice german pub with inexpensive beer and tasty pub grub. The only thing that prevented me from giving five stars was the fact that the room air conditioning did not work on a day where the temperature peaked at over 90F. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay at this property"

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great variety of options. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. After I checked out, I realized I had left the ear pieces of my AirPods behind. I contacted the hotel, and to my relief, they quickly located them. Not only that, but they carefully wrapped them in bubble wrap and mailed them all the way to my home in the U.S. I truly appreciated their prompt and considerate response—it went above and beyond what I expected. This level of care and thoughtfulness is rare and truly appreciated. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making my stay not only enjoyable, but also memorable!!"

"Good location. Comfy bed. Fan in room. Room wasn't cleaned properly with bits of tissue and spillage stains on the bathroom floor that just needed a mop to clean off. The towel was heavily stained (at least I hope they were stains). "

"Basic, but absolutely fine. Entry is by code, supplied in advance. If you don't get this, you can't get in although there is a contact number on the door outside. Clean and comfortable, plenty of breakfast options."

Stock kaum Lichtschalter gibt; wenn Sie dann aber einen Lichtschalter finden, das Licht nicht funktioniert - beim Öffnen des Fensters (Zimmer 33/34) rund um die Uhr Frittierfettgeruch in Ihre Nase steigt - Ihnen beim Vergleich mit der Ausschreibung auffällt „geschickt fotografiert, aber das war‘s leider auch schon…“ - es Sie nicht stört, dass Bewohner anderer Zimmer das Gemeinschaftsbad unter Wasser setzen, weil sie vermutlich ziemlich dreckige Schuhe in und neben der Dusche gereinigt haben … dann könnte es sein, dass Ihnen diese Unterkunft gefällt. Zu teuer ist sie trotzdem. Das Unicafé nebenan ist einen Besuch wert. "

" A nice family run hotel in a charming quiet medevial Franconian village along the Main River with vinyards on the hills above. Seems to have been fairly recently renovated. Friendly English speaking staff. We were able to upgrade our room to a much larger room. The busy hotel restaurant is the big draw here and we ate breakfast (included buffet) and dinner there 3 times. Many good quality food choices. We spoke to a young professional couple at the table next to us and they come to this hotel restaurant for dinner from 10 miles away on a monthly basis so that says something. After staying 3 nights in Wertheim we moved our base to this hotel to cover other areas including visiting: Wurzburg, Rothenburg, Iphofen (restaurant: Kulinarium), and other surrounding area towns. Easy 10 minute drive to main highway. The hotel has a courtyard with parking for a fee but we parked for free 5 minutes down the street along the Main River and enjoyed watching the ships on the river and walking through the old town. Typical Franconian dish we would recommend trying is "Schaufele" which is tender and delicious pork shoulder."
