Was too much effort early mornings to trek kms away for our paid breakfast so we didn't have any. Couldn't shower as all showers are outside (too cold to venture outside) and bath water didn't heat up. Furniture needs tlc. Headboard in main room was not clean. No microwave

"Alabaster Box certainly is doing something right! Besides the home being immaculately kept, the service is top notch.
Upon entering my room I was met with the most beautiful scent of sandalwood. A small fridge, and kettle were available for my snacks and tea. The shower was absolutely amazing, and much needed after a long car ride!
The balcony even had views of the lagoon. There’s a serene koi pond in the back, and pool as well.
Most of all, I felt safe as a solo female. May God bless this...

"This is the most beautiful, personal hidden gem. The property sits on a residential street, and as soon as you step through the gate you truly feel as though are a guest in someone's home. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a huge bed. The view onto the golf course is peaceful and beautiful. We were cooked breakfast at a time of our choice and had some wonderful coffee, yoghurt, fruit eggs and bacon. Nothing was too much trouble. When we are back in Langebaan, we are heading straight here....
