"Peaceful, beautiful scenery and homely. The hosts were friendly and helpful to share about transport and food options, and answered my questions when I had difficulty navigating Furano (my first time in Hokkaido). As a solo traveler without a car, I am grateful that they picked me up on my first day and sent me to the bus stop on my last day. House is very comfortable and spacious. Thanks Penguin and Jane for being such great hosts!"

"The hotel is a little difficult to get to if you don't have a car. The bus runs only a couple of times a day from the airport so plan accordingly and is at the top of a hill (which makes sense for ski but is a trek if you're on your feet). It is a very clean and beautiful property and the staff go above and beyond to be helpful and make your stay comfortable. The views from the room are spectacular. "

"It was a nice hotel before heading to the airport the next day. It’s in walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores. Parking is a bit tight. Overall, it’s a bed and shower … nothing fancy but do you really need more for one night. "

"We were on a 18D trip in Hokkaido and decided to stay out of Sapporo city since we were renting a car, so we decided to stay in Kitahiroshima considering it might have better traffic and no issues with parking. Our first part of the trip was staying 7 nights at Minn, we had 6 in our group, so we got the deluxe room with suana I believe. This room type was good, the way they partitioned the area, we had 5 separate beds and a sofa which could be used as bed as well. The space was great for our group of 6 so the stay was enjoyable, and parking was included for the 7 nights. However, on our return we booked another 2 nights at their hotel, this time we booked the same deluxe room just without suana room, but we were quite disappointed with the room arrangement. There was 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, and then the living area that was partitioned by 3 sliding door had 1 double bed thrown into it and then the sofa next to it. It was way too small for our group of 6. This time we had to utilize the sofa bed and we had to rearrange some of the furniture because there was just not enough space to pull the sofa out. Also, we had to pay additional for their parking space. According to them, every month is different, some months parking are free, some months not. It's just strange. Wished this would have been written or communicated more clearly in their description. Overall, the apartment is in great condition, but just the room type description can be a bit misleading. "

"Love the american standard heights, like bed and lavatory. King size pillows were so fluffy. Blinds were room darkening. Overall it was a welcome change from the typical japanese standards. Would definitely recommend."

"I loved this property! It was absolutely comfortable, spacious and quiet. Loved the view of the airport planes and distant mountains. It also has an Olsen to relax and just enjoy quietness. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Usually the last day visits to Japan, I try to stay closer to the airport, and I will absolutely come back to this place! I wish I could have stayed longer. "We loved our stay! This was perhaps the most thoughtfully designed house I’ve stayed in. For example, a bathroom with a seat and grab bar (great for anyone sore after a long day, not just seniors); a compact drying rack that somehow fits a full load of laundry; subtle black-cat decor that adds a cute touch but doesn’t clash with the wooden farmhouse aesthetic. Our favourite part of our stay was interacting with Kyoko-san, who runs the place solo yet is always cheerful and available when you need her! We enjoyed our chats with her and she gives the best recommendations for what to do in Furano! And the animals! Moon-chan, the resident dog, greeted us each morning and evening, and the property has chickens, a donkey, a goat, and even an owl. A memorable, feel-good stay from start to finish."

"Nice 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms. Has a 2 in 1 washer and dryer. Summer lots of parking lots so no worries about shortage. "

"It was amazing. Room was big enough to store 2 luggages. Toilet clean and smell good. Only thing is the parking: first come first serve basis. If you’re late, you might not be able to get a parking and had to park further up which imo its far. "

"The hotel is about a 10 minutes drive from Furano town, tucked away in a peaceful and scenic area surrounded by nature. It was so relaxing to wake up to the beautiful mountain views right from our room. The onsen was super soothing after a day of exploring! It does get a bit crowded in the evening, so I’d recommend going later at night if you want a quieter time. The whole area is really calm and picturesque, perfect for winding down. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again if we’re back in Furano!"

"I booked this not knowing anything about traveling in Japan. Figured I’d get to the airport and figure it all out there and found this by the airport and thought it great for the price. And it was! Very clean and plenty of room for 1 traveler. All I needed was a place to lay my head and it was that and then some. The pillow provided was not great but it worked. The only bad thing I could say that really was bad is that the train runs right on top of it. Only noticed when I was awake. Never woke me. "

"Spacious and very close to slopes. Tucked away at edge of Kitanomine side which made it quiet and easy to park. Kitchen had everything we needed, and there was washer/dryer. English directions for how to use everything. Would definitely stay again!"
