"The location is very quiet even though near an airport. The hotel has all that you need and is very nice. Only a few minutes drive from all the popular areas too."

Only thing I thought could have been better was the shower head (didnt work properly) and cleanliness of the bathroom. On a scale of 1/10 I'd give it a 7. Other than that everything was excellent. "

"Great location. The room was cozy and had all that we needed. It isn’t fancy or new. It’s just charming authentic and cozy. And right in town. Had to park for free in a nearby lot. Not an issue. "

"The property is situated in a beauriful remote area, and looks stunning from outside. The reception staff was very smart and helpful, and the room was beautiful. The gym is well equipped, however the sauna did not work and the steam room would benefit from an essential oil smell, rather than musty smell. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, my favourite being the handmade soda bread. Top quality food and perfect service. There are lovely walks around the place and the views are stunning, but I am sure I wrote that already. Very happy with our stay. "

We took a longer walk over the nearby bridge to see the beach and old fort. Breakfast was also really good, and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant with a view of the marina. "I didn't realize this was a student dorm facility that apparently they rent out during the summer months. No air conditioning in the room and it was quite warm in there. Not much in the area in regard to dinning or anything else. Lots of students around being loud at night. Check-in was interesting because it's not like a regular hotel. There was a student sitting on the steps outside and asked if I was checking in. When I told her yes, she went inside and gave me a key to the room, which had already been checked in. Then, there's no parking at the location itself, you park at another facility near by, which is fine, except that I didn't know that when we first got there and it was difficult to find a place to park the car so I could go to the desk. Wouldn't have booked this had I known all this. The property was clean though."
"Fabulous location. Was a bit dubious at first as it is located in the student halls of the university but as soon as we opened the door to the room we were very pleasantly surprised and impressed. Great for close proximity to all the sights and in the evening the nightlife of Cork is just a 4 minute walk away. Would definitely come back as there are still some unfinished sights and sounds to be had. "
