Many shrines are also in the area and all are easy to walk to. Nipponia is an INCREDIBLE place to stay with every aspect exceeding my expectations. If you are not familiar with Japanese-style inn, I recommend you bring an eye mask though. The rooms don't have curtains. Isnstead, they have shoji-paper sliding wall for windows which let the light in so the room may get quite bright in the morning,"
