I fell in love with the hotel, the island, its people, the staff. Truly beautiful and lively experience. Particularly at night when all the tourists were mostly gone it felt like just for a moment I was at home. This experienced truly ignited a spark in me to take a leap and finally transition back to where my ancestors were born in France and Spain. "The Ermitage Hotel at Mont Saint Michel is an amazing and charming place! We loved the hotel and its people. Starting with Jean-Marc, the concierge, who immediately contacted us. Jean-Marc is a fantastic and smart tour guide with incredible history knowledge who took us to the most beautiful towns and landmarks. Then, Vincent, who works at the hotel restaurant. Jean-Marc and Vincent are wonderful hosts who made us feel like they were good friends of ours. The Director Werner is also really nice and ready to assist guests with any request or wine selection questions; and last but not least, Sabrina and Loic who were terrific too! Thank you again to all of you for an awesome vacation!"

"The shower was the worst part no pressure water at all wifi was cutting on and off all the time the tv took about an hour to sort itself out the bathrooms floor was grim I had to take a shower with my flip flops. Next door from us they were so noisy and annoying to the point that out bed was moving through the wall. "

"Great location for joining a boat charter and to explore Granville. Very nice hotel with a good restaurant and bar. We continued to dine at the restaurant when we joined the boat.The hotel is an easy walk to the centre shops and sights in Granville."

"Very nice little apartment away from the business of St Michel. Kitchen was so nice to have after eating in restaurants for the last 2 weeks. Kids loved the pool, and adults enjoyed sipping wine on our deck. The staff was very friendly and was able to get our place ready ahead if check in."

" Beautiful place with an amazing view of Le Mont St Michel. Prepare to walk a lot and climb stairs. The breakfast was really good with a good variety of choices. I was able to check in early and checkout late which is extremely convenient due to the train arrival and departure. "

Although we got in too late to book time at the hot tub, we did get to enjoy a lovely afternoon in the conservatory. We also ordered coffee for room service and it was delightful!"

"Perfect location for visiting Mont St Michel with the shuttle bus stopping right in front of hotel. Alternately you can enjoy the walk, approx 30 min with lovely views. Family of four, stayed in a quadruple room which was very spacious and clean. Great water pressure in shower. Surroundings are peaceful and quiet, just sounds of birds so we slept wonderfully. The breakfast is an excellent value and I’d highly recommend it. I’d stay here again if we come back for another visit "

"Overall a good stay at the Relais. We chose this hotel because we wanted to view Mont Saint Michel from our room. The view did not disappoint. The hotel does seem dated but we were told they were in the middle of renovations. We also arrived an hour early and they did not allow us to check in early. The hotel is located right next to a shuttle to Mont Saint Michel which was convenient. "

"They upgraded my room to one with a private bathroom free of charge due to most of the hotel being occupied by male construction workers. It was greatly appreciated. Only downside is the location, as there is nothing around except a few grocery stores that close early and the closest bus is a 20min walk away. Aside from that, it was a great little spot and the staff was lovely! "
