"Wonderful experience - very welcoming to walking Henro pilgrims. Very kind and took great care of guests. (washing machine and dryer on premises, by the way.)"

"Although it is far from JR Kochi St, this inconvenient will pay off for really friendly atmosphere, nice Japanese style breakfast, and different taste of curry dinner everyday.
I highly recommend this place because you can enjyoy having time with international guests, solo travelers, and ,of cource!, friendly staffs."

"We enjoyed our stay here - in a good-sized room. This was a convenient place for trips around Kochi - within walking distance of Kochi Castle, and with a tram stop right outside (just 6 stops with a change in the middle to get to Kochi JR station)"

"Nice location and building. However, the facility needs little more update. They had old style hotel key."

"The staff and hotel were wonderful. Close to shopping, dining and Hirome market, all about 1 minute away. Station is a brisk 15 min walk but tram stops almost in front of hotel. Would stay again"

"Noisy Japanese male groups didn't close the door and keep talking loud even in midnight. Closing doors without holding the handles was really loud and disturbing at 12am. I understand it was a nice time to hang out with friends but should shut the doors to let other customers rest properly. Do not choose the option with room chosen by the hotel."

"Pros: free breakfast, a big room, nice staff, LOCATION!
Cons: all smoking hotel, beds were uncomfortable, the nightlife nearby was loud, the hotel is run down
Although this was an all smoking hotel, the staff did find us a room that didn’t smell! The room was huge and the bathroom was clean. The carpets looked awful though and the wall paper was peeling off. There was also some kind of club right outside our window that was LOUD until around 2:00 am. It was a close walk to everything we...

"Just a 1 night stay but found it to be a great hotel. Close enough to walk to the centre and the castle. Clean, good facilities and car parking available"

"The staff was so kind and patient with the language barrier. The breakfast was really great. I just stayed for a night on my way deeper into the island, but I hope to come back and stay again. "
"I always stay here when I visit Kochi. Convient location, clean rooms, and courteous staff. There's a parking garage right next to the hotel which is great."
"This hotel was really nice. Clean, quiet, and the large bath was very nice. I enjoyed the staff performance at night. I have never stayed at a hotel which offers performance done by staff members in the past, and it was a very fun experience. The dinner/breakfast buffet was very good and offered many local speciality items. The only thing i wish it was different was parking. They charged parking fee to guest. Otherwise, this hotelqas very good."
"If you are arriving by train, this property is about a 15 minute walk from Kochi station, which for Kochi is a fairly short walk. The location is also right next to a bus terminal, with a couple tram stops nearby as well. Good shopping is a close walk, and the castle is also only a 15 minute walk. As far as Kochi goes, this is probably as walkable as it gets.
As for the property, it is a bit older, and while the hallway had a strange smell, the room smelled fine, was clean, and had good air conditioning. Moreover, they did daily cleaning, which is always nice.
Overall I thought this was a good hotel, especially for the price."
