"Had a lovely weekend stay at the hotel. The rooms are adequately sized with the whole "chalet vibe" and a view of the snow covered mountains through the balcony (don't forget to ask for the mountain facing rooms) !
More than enough storage space and decently done bathrooms. The hosts are very pleasant and happy to share local tips. My only gripe is that the breakfast could be better value (but I still suggest to take it, since there aren't really any other options around)"

It is misleading to say A/C when Switzerland has regulations indicating that the unit can only cool to a certain temperature. 79 degrees was the coolest we could get it. At the lodge we were given a tour of the owners memorabilia of his racehorse Justify who won the Triple Crown. Being huge Derby fans we really appreciated this. "For a Hostel this place was fantastic. We were in a private room with bunk beds and our own bathroom. Room had pull down shelves to use to store things and a table along with two stools. It was a 10 -15 min walk from the Chur main train station. Food was walking distance away. Within the grounds of the hostel was a small restaurant and cafe. Downstairs had beverages. There was a community game room and kitchen. "
"We spent only one night to visit the Filisur bridge, we had dinner at their restaurant amd the staff was super friendly and helpful. The heater could be a bit lower, it was suuper hot during the night and there was no switch to control it.
We came late March and the neighbourhood was super quiet, no other restaurants. If you prefer to save up is better to bring food. The coop market is just below, you can also stock up there."
