"Luxury accomodations right next to the river and bike path through the region - the host was wonderful and the decor was beautiful. The large grounds were full of areas to relax - veranda with wine grape vines, fruit trees, tasteful landscaping in an area tucked into farmland without the feeling of being crammed into the city. "The hotel is located above a sushi restaurant and the restaurant people did the check-in. They were really friendly and allowed us an early check-in. Rooms start to get a bit old, anyway they have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The centre of the village is at walking distance. "

"quite a long walk from train station ( 1 km) no taxis! but pretty well the closest. bar is also reception (which was great as I was desperate for a beer after bus substituted for train! efficient small lift, comfortable room with large comfy bed & plenty of electric plugs. quiet in room despite it being a Saturday, although restaurant full with waiting list. great well priced Italian meal (despite being promoted as Sushi - which was available -after a fashion)! slept well. - Large crane and construction immediately in front of the property which we were not informed of
- You need a car. The property is quite far up a steep hill with no pavements so if you have a pram or need help with walking this probably isn’t the place for you. Very few amenities nearby but this makes it a very quiet place to be which can also be good!
- Kitchen is not very well equipped. If you’re staying for more than 2 nights you’ll need to replenish toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets etc
- Weak wifi - sometimes didn’t work at all
- Our water was turned off for a few hours one morning with no notice.

"This really was a most magical place to visit, the peace and calm of the area was just what I needed after hectic working weeks! I wish I had stayed longer to enjoy more of the spa, the village is hard to get to, and very small but the hotel makes up for that. The night we stayed there was a lightning storm and the hotel came to collect us from the local pizza restaurant which was so kind! A lovely places with lovely staff, cannot recommend highly enough! "Have you ever seen a beautiful postcard with a perfect shot of the mountains that you imagined yourself staying in. This is it. You can’t really appreciate the beauty of this place unless you stay here. The panoramic views of the mountains and picturesque little villages that surround you will take your breath away. The view is only equalled by the hospitality and work ethic of the host who will go over and above to insure your stay is perfect. Dinner there was delicious and they were easily willing and able to accommodate my wife’s celiac condition by offering gluten free pasta in addition to the regular menu.
