The owner is a very friendly & nice guy, it looked to us like he is in the process of renovating the property and is doing a good job.
The thing that is letting it down is the breakfast , it was of poor quality and the breakfast room isn't very welcoming.
This has all the makings of a great place once a few things are tweaked."

"Motel is run down but is the only accomodation in Louisburg itself. The motel restaurant served seafood chowder that tasted like it came from a can, was a small portion, and cost $16. The fish and chips were decent. There are very few restaurants in Louisburg and they all close early. The motel restaurant was open until 7:45. "

"The location was fantastic! The establishment has been restored amazingly. Check in was easy, once the code worked for our door. No elevators and we were on the third floor, so we brought up only what we needed for the night. It was clean, quiet and our bed was comfortable. We had to open the windows and turn the a/c on for a few hours before the smell was actually bearable to stay in the room. This is not good when you are allergic to scents!! We would definitely stay again, but would ask to view the room beforehand to make sure there was no strong smell of cleaners."
