1. The cabin was not properly cleaned – there was mud all over the floor and cobwebs around the house.

"This Motel probably used to be 2 stars. With the wonderful owners this hotel is more like a 4 star hotel. Two rooms, small kitchen and a small bathroom but refurbished and very clean. Great beds very comfortable. Nice outside with chairs and a fire pit. Best little hotel in Radium Hot Springs."

"We wanted to shorten our drive home and found this little gem. We loved the Canadian Flags we should be more grateful that we are in Canada. Every motel/hotel should have flags. A sign of love and FREEDOM! The Christmas lights at night felt like I was both in winter even though it was summer. Very classic style too it was like being in the past. Tom was so welcoming and it was the warmest kindness check-in ever. We were blessed to find a pet room as she is part of the family. Great sleep. Thank you! God bless Gables. "
"A very comfortable stay at the end of a long day visiting the national park. Perfectly positioned for a quick trip to the hot springs only 5 minutes away (they even supplied pool towels) and a few choices of local eateries for dinner. Breakfast at the local cafe was included and 3 simple choices were offered. We were in a hurry so had ours to go. The motel was so pretty with so many flowers and it was lovely sitting out on the top floor looking at the mountain views. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a stay in the area."

"This hotel is strategically placed on the main corner of Radium. Easy access to many cafés, ice cream shops and restaurants. The Konrad Kain restaurant attached to the lobby has excellent food! Staff are very friendly and dedicated to best service prior, during and leaving a stay. 10/10 stars. "

From towels prepared specifically for the hot springs, to the welcome treats and the spotless rooms, there were so many thoughtful touches that made my stay special. If you're planning a visit to Radium Hot Springs, I highly recommend staying at Lido Motel."
"I didn't know what to expect as a hostel. It was newly renovated with the cutest little bunkers. I will say as a 5'4" 145lbs woman who is claustrophobic, taller and heavier people would not want to stay here. The bunkers and bathroom/shower are very tiny, I barely had room to move around. But I loved it!!!"

We experienced a power outage for around 10 minutes during our stay.
Major issue: The water heater broke. We contacted the staff at 8:00 PM and waited until 11:00 PM for someone to show up. After trying for 30 minutes, they couldn’t fix it and just said “sorry” before leaving. That night, all 8 adults and 2 toddlers (under 4 years old) had to take freezing cold showers.
The next day, they offered a $100 compensation and promised to transfer it to our account. After following up for over a month and getting ignored repeatedly, we never received it.
Summary:
Poor cleanliness, safety concerns, unreliable facilities, and extremely unprofessional customer service. The lack of follow-through on promised compensation shows a serious lack of integrity. Would not recommend."
