This is a remote island, so I was expecting something rustic, instead I got 5-star cleanliness and amenities. The staff were nice and one gentleman, Yuusuke always particularly awesome. "Great hotel devices(pool and water slide) for kids, beach activities( SUP,canoe,sea castle …) all free for hotel guests, two things need to improve: 1) duvets and covers have bad smell , we have one suite and one room both had this issue , 2) pools not open in the nights besides weekend. We stayed 5 nights in the hotel but only two nights can enjoy night pools…"

The room was nicely organized and it had plenty of space for the two of us. There was a kitchenette, refrigerator and washer/dryer in the room for convenience. We would definitely stay there again. "

The room is nice and the guest house has common showers and bathroom as well as a common kitchen where you can store whatever you need in the fridge or freezer, which ended up being very handy as almost every store closes before 6pm.. they also offer food there in case you couldn’t get any and I found that very thoughtful. They also offer snorkel rental for 1000yen and is definitely worth it!"
"This apartment boasts a peaceful residential setting and a lovely, clean, contemporary design. The well-equipped kitchen and in-unit washer/dryer were a real plus, and the bed was super comfy. However, we stayed at the 2nd floor with no lift was tough with heavy luggage. Parking was also tight for our big SUV. Pillows were small/thin, and more clothes hanging options would be great. Overall a nice stay, but consider luggage and car size."

"We were well taken care of during our stay. Room was great and the views were phenomenal. Breakfast and dinner were provided and served to us on the patio in front of our room. The food served was very tasty and unique. There is also a happy hour in which drinks (beer/wine) were served to our patio. Snorkeling gear and wet suit were also provided. "Average experience, this is clearly a newly open residence and only one floor is in service while the owner is still renovating the second floor.
Maybe a lot for one person to handle , but professionalism could improve, cleanliness was ok but not perfect and while some things are newly renovated, this is an older building. Owner is helpful though and this may all improve in time . For now it’s a bit expensive for what it is, but there is limited options on Aka island anyways.
