Area is a bit quiet and there isn't much eating out or shopping around (except 2-3 restaurants and a single supermarket a town nearby), and 30-35 minutes from Bayreuth (and much cheaper to stay here than in Bayreuth during August when the Wagner events are going on).

When we got there, the staff didn’t speak English, so it was a bit challenging to communicate, but we managed to get our key and drive back to the hotel.
