"My husband and I stayed in the standard queen room without an ocean view.
The room was small, but it's updated, cozy, and perfect for two people. The bed was very comfortable. I really like the light up mirror above the desk, which was great for getting ready while my husband showered. There's also a bench with coat hooks, which was nice for hanging coats and beach towels. The were reading lights above the nightstands in addition to the lamps. There are also USB outlets above each nightstand; one regular plug and one for phone cords. This was handy for my husband's CPAP machine. The location and beach access were amazing!
There were a few minor things we didnt like. The room was very warm and there's no AC. We had the heat off and our window open, but the room didn't cool down much. My sister stayed in a standard King room and had the same complaint. The weather was in the low 50°'s at night, so it wasn't hot outside at all.
The water pressure is high, so the shower was a bit abrasive and created a draft that pulls the shower curtain into the shower. The curtain sticks to your body while you shower if you don't pin down the middle. It would be better if the shower curtain had magnets in the middle rather than just at each end.
It was a busy weekend, so the parking lot was completely full at night. If you leave, you may not have a spot when you return. Curb spots were also limited.
Overall, we liked the hotel enough to stay again, just not during hot weather."
