"I had read a bunch of negative reviews and almost canceled our booking. I am glad we didnt. The room has been renovated recently and was much nicer than I was expecting. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was also quite good. We would stay here again."

"The TV was not working in our room and internet connection was really bad. However, the staff was kind enough to let us switch to another room. The condition and cleanliness of the rooms were just okay. The resort was the only lodging between Banff and Jasper, hence we stayed there to enable us to hit both national parks. "

"This was a very nice hotel. Only complaint we had is that they didn’t supply a coffee maker, but we travelled with our Keurig with us so it wasn’t a problem, plus they had coffee in the lobby, plus the breakfast was excellent."

"We stayed for three nights at the Beach Front and based on recently read reviews we weren't sure what to expect. However I'm happy to say we were pleasantly surprised.
Check in was easy and the owners/workers are super friendly and helpful. We never had to wait for anyone at the front desk. They even upgraded us to a kitchenette at no extra charge!
The rooms are what I would expect of an affordable beach motel and relatively basic. The had an air conditioner/fan/dehumidifier and dedicated wifi that was super fast. I also like that they had bathtubs and not just showers, for a chill, relaxing time.
The property has a big fire pit and chairs, picnic tables, and barbecues. It's in an absolutely perfect location for going to the beach, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. We didn't have to drive anywhere.
The room could have been a little bit cleaner, some dust/sand, and a few errant bottles etc. from previous guests under the beds. Nothing that would hinder me from coming back."
"Good motel. Our room included a small kitchen and induction cook top. Very handy for multiple night stay. Average location of the motel and parking situation is very casual though not an issue. Staff was nice during late check in. Definitely recommend. "
