"Pros: The staff were the only good thing about this. They looked after us and showed us around including taking us to the local Good Aircon Cons: The online advert isn't supposed to be online apparently therefore we were expected to pay at the property again - luckily hotels.com provided a discount. The shower was broken as in no showerhead, it was like showering with a hosepipe. Kariba is known for mosquitos due to hot weather yet there was no repellent or spray.. our room was infested. Breakfast was a lie - they didn't do it despite being advertised then it was offered without being told it was to be paid for. They asked for $20 for two people. "

"I would just book this hotel for the restaurant alone. It is amazing. Great chefs. The room was really comfortable, we slept so well. The staff are so kind, and helpful. Beautiful clean swimming pool. Great value for money compared to other Hyatts. "

"Quiet peaceful oasis in which to recover from a long journey. Staff were polite and helpful at all times.The hotel itself was attractive and full of character with lovely gardens.The large pool was very nice for a cool swim. I would not hesitate to recommend the Brontë Hotel"

"Everything was first class, large well appointed room, comfortable bed, great breakfast ..... my car was even washed in the morning! Doesn't get better than that!"

"The room offered was dirty , bath tab , And all floors very dirty had to scrub the bath to enable me to use it. The Television had crackles , picture quality poor and haze in the end I could not connect to any TV channel at all . The hotel safe was broken not able to use to keep vulnerables. Considering that I booked this stay back in September 2025 no effort was made to ensure that I get offered a clean room . The carpets laid along the corridors were all very dusty and smelt due to lack of maintenance. I have been a guest at the Jameson crests on and off for over 10yrars I have noticed that the standards of cleanliness there has gone down , the place is no longer fit for purpose. I cannot fault the reception staff they tried their best to address my concerns "
