10/10 Excellent
"We were very disappointed with the staff's attitude during the power outage. There was no notification of what was going on, no apologies for the discomfort, and no refund because they consider this as "Acts of God". But they also promised in the agreement "to do the best to make your stay comfortable" and just ignore you later."
"Great property, hosts were great, camp fire get together with s’mores, very quiet, rooms clean and comfy, only thing I would change is having a stove top so you could cook. Loved our stay!"
"While it wasn't convenient to anything, property and staff were so pleasant. It would be nice to have a meal choiceor even cup of tea, water-after breakfast. Wine n cheese hour on beautiful grounds would be beneficial and profitable!"
"The host is sweet and the hostel is very nice. She let u stay and use kitchen even u're already checkout and your flight has not came yet.
All guests are friendly.
Highly recommended"
"We stayed in the main lodge and had plenty of space for our family of 4 and a lot more privacy than in the larger hotels. The room was comfortable and the host very friendly."
"More than expected. The cabin was huge. The property was quiet-ish. That’s not the fault of the owner. Just rude neighbor. Close to the airport and within 10-20 min of pretty much everything we came to do. I would definitely stay here again.
My only suggestion would be extra blanket in the cabin. If I was staying longer or if the temps were lower I would have asked, the owner was very friendly and I’m sure he would have obliged, I just didn’t ask. The temperatures were literally perfect so I don’t know if the heat/ac are good or not.
Hot water was HOT, which was GREAT, but owner mentioned smaller tank size so we got in/got out and waited about 20 min between showers so I’m not sure what the run time is on the hot water, but it was perfect for us.
Also the coffee was insanely delicious. I’m not sure what the brand was or if it was the filtered water or what, but I would literally come back just for that coffee….. "
"The positive for us were the following: We really enjoyed our time in the hot springs, we soaked in its waters every afternoon. Liked the fact that only adults (18+) could use it. We liked the quietness of the area and its trails. We liked that we could fill our hydroflask with water at the lobby-check in area to the springs and the water tasted great. We would stay here again 2 days max, not a whole week like we did.
For us the negatives are the following:
We have never stayed at a resort that did not have a mini fridge in the room. A mini fridge is important especially if there aren't any markets around. Eating at the ONE and ONLY restaurant in the property can be expensive. Also the restaurant did not have a lot waiters/waitresses, so being seated and served could be a while depending on the time. Juan, one of the servers, was super helpful, attentive, and shared pointers on some of the nearby trails. If you want the room to be serviced, you have to let the front desk know otherwise it will not be serviced even if you put the rag on the door.
The pool we only used it once. I didn't like that the sides of the pool looked (were) dirty.

"Super cute town and nice rooms. They are a little small and the bathrooms are shared with 7 other rooms. We never had to wait for the bathroom and they were newly remodeled. Bed was comfy. Sheets/towels were very soft, would have loved a couple more pillows. It is right in the middle of town and all the restaurants and river is within walking distance. It is right above a bar that plays live music til around midnight every night, some nights later. Fun games, fire pit and great atmosphere. Just don’t plan on going to bed early"
"Nice new modern lodge up in the hill just up the road from Denali Park entrance. The Denali Park tour bus picked us up right at the front door, so this is a very convenient place. There is an on-site bar and Grill as well as a convenience store. It’s about a mile from other dining options, but we did not explore those. We were here for one night and the next morning took the bus tour into the park And then went home. "
"We liked the buses that helped us get around the property. We liked the variety of restaurants and shops. We also liked the activities, games, music, and s’mores offered on the property. It was a beautiful location on the river and very close to Denali National Park."
"This isn’t a cookie cutter hotel. It has character. First impression going to office was a little concerning, but once me got to room we were happy. Decor was dated, but clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty."
