"The staff were all super nice, great place to meet people. Only a 6 minute walk to some really cool temples & about 10/15 minute walk to downtown, super close the airport great for a first night in Chiang mai."

"Small and cute place in old town. Super friendly and helpful owner and the rooms are nice. I stayed in a 3 bed room (huge beds and seperated by thin walls, so you felt like you had the room to yourself). Great spots in the area - restaurants, gym, weed shops and night market). "

"Emplacement très bien à une minute d’un marché de nuit et à quinze minute à pied de la vieille ville. L’hôte est de bons conseils. Mais la literie est très dure et la rue très bruyante, et la salle de bain et les toilettes sont communes à chaque étage. Nuits difficiles. Nous étions ravis de n’avoir réservé que deux nuits. "

"Nice quiet location in walking distance from everything. Walked to the river, night bazaar, all around the walled city area and within... although did havebicycles i ciuld use, but prefer to walk. Only transport needed to Doi Suthep.
Lovely staff, rooms, hotel dogs and breakfast."

"Good for a cheap stay. Wasn’t staffed adequately- no one in the office when ever I went there. Lifts are between floors- so you will still need to lift bags up stairs. "

"Good room service and breakfast. Nice staff in general.
Would have been nice to be reminded that breakfast is served at Smith Residence, opposite Smith Hotel.
The "talking elevator" is unnecessary. It can be heard 2 rooms away, everytime.
A shower curtain and a wardrobe as well as better toiletery supplies (especially soap) would make for a better experience."

"Loved our stay at Phuoobfa Resort, the people that run it are so lovely. Went above and beyond to make us comfortable and feel welcome. They even got us a gift at the end of our stay which was so kind. Our bungalow was clean and big, we got fresh towels and there smokes everyday really brightened our mood. Will be back for sure!"

"Lovely kind staff who even gave me free motorbike trips down to the main intersection. Nice room with a big big bed. In fact it was a whole cabin rather than just a room. I appreciated the coffee and sweet snacks they provided for breakfast. The owners essentially could not speak any English and there was no real reception area just fyi, but they easily made up for this with their hospitality.
Only downside is that it is quite a way from central Chiang Mai, if that's where you plan to visit...
