"I was looking for a place that I can stay away from the tourist crowd at the same time convenient to make day trips to see the city Osaka and its attractions. This place has convenient access to public transportation. And the location and facility provides such an amazing view of the city and affinities. The staff is so friendly, amazing food and service! for my family to enjoy and be together, and I imagine it would make a beautiful romantic getaway. The special kaiseki dinner was one of the best I had during my stay in Japan. If you’re into the onsen experience with an understated but delightfully charming and luxurious stay, book this place! "

"This is my first time to Nara. This is my favorite hotel I have stayed at this year. The hotel staff are very friendly and kind. If we arrive early, they will give me a room in advance. It is also good to use the swimming pool. The key point is next time I will still stay in this hotel when I come here."

"This Ryokan does not do food of any kind. Inaccurate description on expedia.
It is close to everything in the area..
Yukatas provided are quite small.
Onsen is small but adequate.
Bit wear and tear but expected for old building.
Staff where polite and helpful.

"It's our first time at an onsen ryokan, and overall it was a very pleasant stay! The receptionist that greeted us spoke English well and was very clear at explaining the facilities and answering any questions we had. She asked clarifying questions about our food preference so that adjustments can be made to the meals. My friend doesn't eat any raw food, we both don't eat spicy, and they made note of that. The Kaiseki ryori dinner was delicious. I mentioned I liked sashimi and I'm ok with raw...

"Perfect hotel. Location was next to the train station which is a must in this hilly town. Property nice and clean. Food was excellent. Kaiseki dinner with meat was tasty and filling. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately the outdoor onsen was closed. Indoor onsen was large and had a variety of pools. Overall a memorable stay and I highly recommend this hotel."

"Clean rooms, friendly and English speaking staff. Breakfast buffet included and has a large section of eastern and western food. Sometimes the buffet is crowded. It was really convenient that the airport bus stopped here and the train station is here as well."

"The staff here is absolutely wonderful. They were so kind and helpful. We had one of the smaller rooms, but still way more spacious than something in Tokyo within our price range. The room and private bath were so beautiful. We ordered the Japanese dinner and breakfast and it is a must if you stay here! You’ll try foods authentic to Nara specifically and the amount you receive is more than plenty. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone even for just one night, as that is what we did to relax...

"Japanese kitschy. Rooms were nice though and fun for kids. Wasn't clear that the kid activities (pool, kids land) incurred costs even for hotel guests."

"Good Onsen in the mountainous part of North Osaka, excellent food and nice bath, complete with winter sakura blossoming at the outdoor pool. Only 10min walk from a wonderful temple with rare Buddhist art and autumn foliage. Transportation with a hotel shuttle from the Ikeda town, which has interesting Rakugo Museum with English videos and old castle ruins, close to Minoh Expo park.
