Beautiful and peaceful winter setting close enough to downtown sights and restaurants of Leavenworth and far enough for quiet and relaxation. We splurged for a short getaway to celebrate a birthday and appreciated the hospitality, delicious and well-prepared breakfast, lovely attention to the decor and amenities of the pensione. Felt like we were traveling in a different country, which is the break we needed. The wood fireplace in Almarosen room was romantic and warming, the bed very comfortable, and a lovely place to return to after a day outdoors on snowshoes or skis.

Kelly went over and beyond! Amazing breakfast with GF and DF options, including the nightly desert! My husband normally doesn't like gluten free things and he said that the desert was the best he'd had before. The pictures really do not do the property justice! Amazing visit with a special surprise!

Amazing visit. The rooms were charming. Stayed in the Almrosen suite and had a wood-burning fire for an extra romantic stay. Resort Manager, Haylee, made a special 2 person birthday cake when she learned we were celebrating. What a delicious surprise! Loved the experience!
