We loved staying at this property! The quietness was lovely. The fridge was stocked for breakfast which was appreciated and the hot tub was wonderful after many days of hikes. The only small issue was trying to contact the property. I was not able to use my phone to call and the property does not respond to messages, but a wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend!

Very modern, clean, spacious, and private. Hot tub was great and free breakfast was a nice bonus. The property was surrounded with beautiful scenery and horses. Responsive and friendly hosts! Fabulous guest house!

I love the decor and the "spa" like feel of the room and bathroom. Very clean, easy to find, quiet location. What I didn't like is the fancy blinds I couldn't figure out and had to place pillows in the window to block out the light. I also had an embarrassing morning with breakfast. Other guesthouses label the guesthouse food so you know what you can or cannot use. And it is understood if something is on a lower shelf or in a bag, it is not for general use. This guesthouse says yogurts, eggs, breads, etc available so I used that but it turned out to be someone else's food that was not labeled and was out in the middle of the refrigerator! This can easily be avoided with a label on the shelf for "guests".

It was our favourite stay during the entire 10 day Icelandic family roadtrip! Super comfortable and the location is just stunning! We all enjoyed the hot tub and the owner generously stacked the fridge for breakfast. It truly felt like home away from home! The kids have already asked if we could go back and stay for longer! We all loved it!

We loved it here! Right off of the Ring Road. Host was very easy to communicate with. Beautiful scenery and horses everywhere. Super quiet and peaceful. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen for cooking. Host left food for breakfast so there were plenty of snacks available. Washer but no dryer. Definitely visit Reykjafoss if you stay here which is a gorgeous waterfall with a natural hot spring tub (about 12 min from the property in Varmahlio).

This is a great little spot. What set it apart for us was the kindness of our host. My son forgot his boots in the shoe bench and our amazing host found them a ride to Reykjavik, so they were available to us before our flight home. Super, super grateful! The refrigerator stocked with wonderful items for breakfast (including eggs, yogurt, milk and dries cereals). The hot tub is nice, there is a great view of the mountains and horses from it. It was lovely to wake up to horses in the fields. We had a family room with a double and a bunk. Our restroom was shared with 2 other rooms in our suite. Towels were provided. Fabulous experience. Thank you!
