From the time we arrived at the resort, I knew we were going to have an enjoyable and memorable time. From the warm welcome from the staff to the wow factor of our room and the grounds, every minute detail played a part in the overall experience. We will definitely return when we next visit Costa Rica.

The property is just a 2 minute drive from La fortuna its in an excellent location that offers both peace and quiet as well as access to great restaurants and activities. The on site amenities are excellent including the restaurant. The hotel staff is attentive, helpful and very responsive. Id recommend Casa Del Rio to any couple of family in La Fortuna! Great location. Secure site. Nice hoop court and gym if you want to pump the blood before your eco tours. … be aware that if your room is close to the river, the sound of the flowing water will be loud. … room update was needed as lamp shade was old/rusty; coffee pot had old coffee in it and overall smell was a bit musty. … staff is attentive and fast in fixing issues. … free breakfast is a bonus with a nice variety.
