The lodge itsself had a few rough around the edges fixtures and fittings but it was in a beautiful setting, quiet and relaxing. lots of modern gadgets within the room. Alexa in the room, sensor lights, lights for the room etc. all very modern. Farm animals outside beautiful and a lovely site for arrival and departure, food available from reception for feeding. easy check in and check out if reception is closed or in a hurry.

Well appointed, well furnished, comfortable accommodation with a great shower. Wonderful location. The lady who was supposed to make breakfast did not show up on the morning of our departure, so as a matter of apology the person at the desk promptly refunded £10 to us. Great. The staff were friendly and accomdating and eager to please. There was an unfortunate incident, in which the electrics failed and staff, (Alison) despite difficult weather conditions had everything sorted in an impressive 10-15mins. Very nice and comfortable accommodation with lovely views

Easy check in but didn't realise you have to be there before 5pm. Good job I checked. room was nice and big, well heated, bathroom was massive, all modern fittings, and great to be facing the lake. Only thing I can say but its personal choice is the bed was really hard and didn't have a great nights sleep.
