The room was ideal for my needs as I stayed two nights near Hyde Park.
The only service I received (as I did not pay for breakfast while staying) was upon arrival to acquire my room key (electronic keycard). The woman behind the counter was very polite explaining where I was situated for my stay and gave me a small map to assist me.
The room itself is very basic. One bed, bathroom with a toilet, sink and standing shower. Hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and two towels (hand towel and bath towel) all supplied. I also had a kettle with tea and coffee sachets plus all the usual extras. There was also a fan in the room, possibly due to the heatwave we were experiencing at the time, which was appreciated. No TV so bring your own entertainment as the building has free Wi-Fi.
The room was in perfect condition. Everything looked clean and felt new. The room I stayed in was on the third floor and faced the park of the establishment. This meant for the most part noise levels were very low and I couldn't hear traffic. Occasionally there was some noise from residents of nearby housing but this wouldn't have been an issue most of the year as I only hear them due to keeping a window open for ventilation because of the heat.
Location has plenty of activities to do near by such as the Natural History and Science Museums. Hyde Park is 5 minutes away. It is also very close to one of South Kensington Station's exits so the London Underground can take you anywhere further you need to do.
