Nice hotel but really hot

The hotel is very nice and in a walkable distance from every major attraction. Our room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. However we were absolutely boiling during the night since the air-conditioning did not work. When we raised the issue with the receptionist we were given the answer that they didn't turn it on since it "wasn't that hot outside" thus our room was stuffy and we couldn't sleep from heat despite open windows. It was unfortunate because otherwise the stay was perfect!

Hotel was ideal for us. Made to feel welcome on arrival having already arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport. Reception staff very helpful. Room was large and warm despite the freezing temperatures outside. Breakfast included was excellent. Location was ideal and meant that everything was within walking distance.
