Concepcion de Ataco

The hotel is a cute boutique style property. For the area the comforts were excellent, although the bed was a little on the hard side and there was very little hot warm, more like warmish. The views from the room are fantastic! The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was yummy. If you plan on exploring know that the walk up the hill to the hotel is steep and on a cobblestone road. When we return we will stay here again.

First time staying if you aren’t familiar with the area you might say it’s old and outdated but it’s the best out in this area. Service is amazing - breakfast is amazing!!! It does have air and bedding is amazing. It has hot water too

Nothing outstanding about the hotel, except the nice view from the deck. Goodnight sleep, soft sheets and comfortable bed, except the pillows are too thick and cause neck pain. The bedrooms on the bottom floor have a stuffy smell and need to be aired out. Pick a room on the upper floor for nicer view. Breakfast opens at 8am but it took 30 minutes to be served.

Absolutely beautiful property, just a short walk away from Ataco Town Square, and a 20-minute drive from Santa Teresa Thermal Hot Springs. Comfortable beds, decent warm water (a luxury in most of El Salvador), and a phenomenal restaurant with spectacular views all around. Small, quaint, quiet, clean. Plenty of easy (and free) parking onsite. Highly recommended!

Casa 1800 was definitely more than we expected. Every little detail was taken care of (such as the shower towels and the guides for TV/Cable remote controls). Also the breakfast was very delicious and the staff was very kind. I'd want to visit the other Casas 1800, for sure.

I have to start by saying this hotel is stunning. The decor, the rooms, the views of the mountains. The extremely friendly staff. This was our favorite hotel out of all the hotels we stay at. This hotel was just beautiful. I highly recommended this hotel. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Me and my wife will be definitely be staying at Casa 1800 again!!! We rented two rooms, one on upper floor and one on the lower floor. The room on the lower floor had a strong smell of dampness, but no mold seen. They provided incense for all the rooms. The upper floor had intermittent hot water for showers. There were no end tables near the bed. There was cable and streaming options for tv although a bit challenging to navigate. Stable internet. The staff were nice, food was good and the view was worth the stay. Walkable to markets, church and town square with nice cafes and patios. Police walking around and a lot of families- seemed super safe and town seemed to close down before dark. Beautiful sunsets..

Was surprised how tiny the room was and how some things needed update since we stayed at 1800 in Cerro Verde and this property was top of the line, but there was a big difference in price. Property and rooms in Ataco need to be updated. The service was excellent. The view and the restaurant were beautiful. This property just need some renovations because it has the bones to be a great hotel.

The restaurant was excellent food quality and options, kitchen open with access to meals during all the time. Service excellent: friendly and always accommodating your requests. Hotel could improve: no table to open/ rest your luggage to unpack. No garbage can in the room, This morning I had no hot water, very annoying Front desk didn’t respond and My husband had to get dress and get a maintenance person to fix the problem. The problem was fixed immediately but too late for me since I had to finish showering with cold water
