This hotel is handy for chinatown and is walking distance to the harbour area and sannomiya station. Motomachi station is about a 3 minute walk away. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of dishes and the bed was comfortable. Even for a Japanese hotel, the room was very cramped for 2 people travelling with carry-on sized suitcases. As for the onsen - if you have tattoos you can only bathe between 11pm and 3am, which I honestly found quite insulting.

Front desk folks professional and are knowledgeable to customer needs. So nice I stayed a second night. Lots of shopping and food close by. Got lost finding the hotel, took JR and got off at Kobe station. You need to get off at Motomachi or Sannomiya station.

5D4N Stay at Kobe

Location of this hotel is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the city centre, in between 2 main railway stations. Hotel parking is just across the road (<5mins walk), but the price was a bit too expensive I think (JPY2,300/night). Room space was okay, but the toilet size, I have to stress, must have been the smallest toilet we have ever had during our 30+ stays in Japan! Can hardly turn our body inside.

Got Security issue and bed too soft

I loved Candeo group and this is my 4th times staying with the group. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is wonderful. However my staying this time is not good. When I checked in, they arranged me to a non-check out room. When I went into the room, someone’s luggage and belongings are still in the room. Luckily, no one was there, or else it can be awkward and embarrassing. There was security issue. The next day, my friend’s room was left opened for the whole day after cleaning. The security latch was holding the door opened. We don’t know how long that was left open but we were back at 7pm plus when we found out. It simply feel so scary. Luckily my friend checked nothing missing. The bed was also too soft this time. This also make me feel disappointed.

良いホテル

神戸の滞在は毎度こちらにお世話になっています。 神戸の同じ価格帯のホテルでは間違いなく1番快適な素晴らしいホテルです。 いつも高層階の部屋を、電車の音が気にならないためお願いしていますが、今回5階でしたが思ったよりは気になりませんでした。 ただ禁煙の部屋でしたが、クーラーから若干のヤニ臭と、シャワーカーテンのカビ臭が…苦手な臭いでしたので近くの薬局で消臭スプレーを買ってきましたが効果なし。。 心なしか階数で清潔具合や客層が異なるように感じます。 また毎度ランドリーを利用させていただき思うのですが、Tシャツ3枚と下着だけでも全く乾かず、結局4時間、なかなかの追加料金を支払い回すことになります。そして洗濯後服が臭くなります。順番もなかなか回ってこないため苦労します。 なんとか機材を変えるか、せめて清掃はしていただきたいものです。 それを差し置いても、また私は泊まりたいと思う良いホテルです。これからもよろしくお願いします^ ^
