Nice Hotel, Immaculate Interior

Clean hotel with friendly staff and nice breakfast. The room was comfortable and large and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The only issue is that the hotel was at one time deocorated with string lights. These lights no longer work, their cord is visible with broken and missing bulbs, and it appears it has been some time since they were operational. It would seem someone would take them down by now.

We woke up every morning and did a weather report as well as a cloud and cow report. The view of the mountain was so special - we loved seeing the cows come down the mountain at night. The sound of the local train and thin walls made it a bit noisy so if that would bother you ask for a room at the back of the building or expect to sleep with ear plugs. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of variety and fresh ingredients. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend to others no problem!

Enjoyed our stay. Lovely, large room and balcony. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. We had a car with us but found we hardly needed it as there is a bus stop and train station very close and the public transport takes you easily to most popular locations. Downside perhaps was that the hotel is on a moderately busy road so some traffic noise.

Had a room with fabulous mountain views. Rooms are small but efficient. Beds comfortable. Great balcony to our room too. Great location a stone’s throw from Berchtesgaden. Wonderful breakfast. Some traffic noise, but it lessens substantially at night.

Hotel was nicely situated on the main road, with easy parking. Building quite dated but very clean. Breakfast area very small and busy. Booked a room with a “mountain view” but was on ground floor with view of a car park and the beirgarten next door. Feeling slightly taken advantage of, this coloured my visit. Lots of noise from the beirgarten and other guests in adjacent rooms.
