Great location and service-room lacking functional

I found this to be the perfect location. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was huge and amazing. I love the sleek contemporary design of the rooms. There were signs with little extras you could get, like a fan, which was great. Four stars because the room really lacked functionality. There were no nightstands, only one outlet by the bed, no USBs anywhere (had to choose between the fan or charging devices overnight). The bathroom was wildly dysfunctional. There was no place to put your things. Not a shelf even in the shower. And about 3 feet of totally unused space (so plenty of room for hooks or shelves). You can make it work but leaving detail in the review hoping they add some things to make life easier.

The location of this hotel is excellent to walk around all attractions in Bergen. Transportation between airport and Havila cruise from the hotel is easy. Front desk staff are very helpful, and buffet breakfast included is excellent.

For the location and price, this hotel can't be beat! Literally in the city center and steps away from the wharf and old town. Breakfast was great with many options. I saw some reviews saying that it was loud, but we had no problems with noise. We would totally stay here again and recommend it to others.

Pricy without the "hotel experience"

The pros: _Very centrally located. _Clean room. _Quite decent breakfast. The cons : _The room was tiny, with nowhere to put your clothes and belongings.The furniture only consists of a desk, a chair and the bed, all of which are practically touching each other. Windows cannot be opened, which makes the room feel even more cramped. _Staff is not customer oriented... they look and talk like they would much rather be somewhere else. _The shower has no door so that the whole bathroom gets sprayed by water after you shower. _Thermostat is irresponsive to instructions, temperatures randomly oscillate between 22 and 30 degrees celsius. _Wifi login requires agrreing to using your email for commercial purposes. In conclusion: not terrible but overall grossly overpriced for what you get.

Great location, close to the main harbour, fish market & attractions. Easily walkable to most parts of the central city, but also on bus routes. The room was comfy, but lacked hooks, shelves, storage. So if you are staying for a few nights you are living out of your suitcase.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel mainly because of the room that was: very modern, new, clean, spacious & comfortable. The included breakfast was a buffet with very good & tasty selection (warm & cold). The location was perfect: most of the important objectives are in a walkable distance. Cons: hallways were dull & narrow; tv had only 1 English channel (UK BBC); no conditioner; room service only on request.

I stayed 3 nights and I found the area is not good because druggy people making noise outside and I found that Red Cross distribute free meals next to the hotel that’s they always mucking around. My wife was scared specially during the night.

Don't spend extra on bigger room or city view

I ordered a city view 20 sqm room. The room was long and narrow with a passage way from the door to the bed space with the bathroom on the side so the extra space i wanted was not in form of spare around the bed. The city view was not as the picture, it was a single window on the 2. floor looking at the adjacent building wall.
