Erg fijn hotel, mooie kamers en goed eten. Alleen is er weinig in de buurt te doen, een auto is noodzakelijk.

A charming hotel with relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and made sure you were comfortable. Absolute bonus is the delisious breakfast to give you a great start for the day. Good connections anywhere in West Midlands and Wales.

I rarely use the word 'exceptional' in a review but the Ugly Duckling north of Telford deserves that accolade for both the rooms and again for the restaurant. Google earth shows a picture (2014) of a derelict and run down old pub and somewhere since then it has been transformed. Modern tasteful décor in the rooms, comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, effective shower and all facilities you would expect. The food selections for both dinner and breakfast were ample and the quality very high. All staff were extremely pleasant and very professional at their jobs. No real problems at all although some late departing guests were a little loud on the Saturday. Very handy for all the local Shropshire tourist features such as Ironbridge and the Wrekin. An exceptional experience is the appropriate description.

We had a pleasant couple of nights the room was a little small. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice no bath but two showers. There was some bar music until late which disturbed us. The staff were very nice and helpful.
