The room was lovely, at first glance. Unfortunately, when we got there the windows were opened and the air conditioning was off. It was 90 degrees outside and very humid. It had to be at least 90 degrees, and possibly more, in our room. It took 2+ hours with the air conditioning blasting to get the room comfortable. I think it would have been more efficient and ecologically sound to keep the air on set at 75 on the day they knew the room would be used. There was a burned out light, the carpet had folds in it, and the one window was broken, making it impossible to close completely. This hotel has potential but really needs a once over to make it great. We had dinner at the restaurant which was quite nice. The breakfast area was right outside our room which was convenient. The assortment was fine but I’m not a big breakfast person.
Overall, I’d say we were a bit disappointed with the hotel, in general. It needs someone to pay attention to the details.
