Aloha Vida Beach Resort has the best food at the beach, even if you're not staying here I'd suggest you eat here. I ended up booking an additional night while I was staying there and they were able to keep me in the same room. I had a deluxe room on the third floor, even though it was a couple flights up it was the only room on the floor on that side of the building, (Room 9) I told the staff I was coming for my anniversary and they made the room up with flowers and balloons. Overall the staff was amazing and tended to our every need.

I would stay at Alona Vida again. It has beach access in a quieter area of Alona Beach. The room & furnishings are outdated but the air conditioner is new & the room is clean. There was always a big balcony in my room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The pool is a small kidney bean shape and good for cooling off in but noisy when busy. There is always live music in the evening.

This Hotel is not big and not a 5 star Hotel, but it should be it is right on the beach the staff is amazing the room is very nice the restaurant is very good and also they serve a very nice breakfast. The resort is a bit of a hike along sand but if you have heavy bags porter will help. Location is great. Beach there. Plenty of options for eating out. Tours everywhere. Cleaners are great. Very clean, very friendly staff, great free breakfast, avoid the Alona Burger! It has a added ingredients in the Pattie’s to make it look bigger? It doesn’t taste like real beef. Overall, I think it’s one of the best place to stay in Panglao.

5 day Bohol stay

The hotel staff were very helpful and lovely. Breakfast was good and they were very accomodating when you had to leave early for one of the tours. The room was clean and it was a nice touch to have some fresh fruit there for the first day. Pool was clean and the restaurant was good for dinner too. The hotel is probably due for some simple renovations. Alona Beach was very busy, but good if you don’t mind some beachside hustle and bustle. Very central to the tours and lots of other restaurants and bars.

Family holiday. Greeted and assisted by lovely staff. Good sized room for 3 with balcony. complimentary fruit basket. Cons: shower head broken, blanket very thin, dental single use-bristles get stuck in my teeth and tap by the pool smells when turned on. Nice, enjoyable pool with shade to kill time. Included breakfast was generous and tasty.

I was a guest in the Alona Vida Beach Resort recently. Prior to my arrival I contacted the hotel with a barrage of questions. Lhea, that angel took the time to answer everyone of my questions and made sure I was at ease. I had no more worries and made sure someone was waiting for me at the airport. So, I stayed for 6 nights and my time there was incredible. I booked the Panoramic Room and - WOW!!! I had the best view of Alona Beach. The room was big, had a refrig., hot water and good AC. All the staff were so kind and courteous. Sherime went out of her way each day to check on me. The restaurant was cozy with great food and drink selections. The live band each night were the best source of entertainment on the beach. Did I mention this is beach front property? Yes! I felt safe and was treated like royalty here. This hotel treats their guests with kindness, respect and compassion.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and the electricity went out several times throughout our stay. Every time this happened, my husband would report the outage and they would reset the breaker. The only items plugged in and running at the time was the air conditioner and the hot water tank. It seemed to happen every single time one of us was in the shower and it was pitch black. Not an ideal or safe situation. My husband asked to speak with the manager and was told the manager was not in but the issue would be addressed the following day. No attempt to contact us was made by the manager or any other staff about this situation. The hotel itself was located on the beach. It was close to plenty of restaurants and live entertainment. The live entertainment at the hotel played until about 11:00pm nightly. If you are looking for a quiet location to stay, this is not an ideal hotel. There is also construction going on at the hotel that we were not aware of. If you plan to spend time in the pool, it is noisy. The hotel itself wasn’t dirty, but with the construction there was construction debris left in front of one of the rooms we had to walk passed. Paint cans, garbage bags, and other equipment was present until the last day of our stay. There was a guest staying at the hotel that smoked at the bottom of the stairways and discarded of his cigarette butts in the walkway. The pile of cigarette butts grew and remained in the same location for 2 days.
