The music and food and onsite salsa were amazing. Front desk service needed some work - showers in ladies only room pretty bad but great location to travel around - a bus ride to Cancun coast and right next to bus station.

I was upgraded to an apartment on arrival which was really welcome after a long flight. The room was clean, everything worked, it’s a 2 minute walk to ADO bus station. All staff I encountered were very helpful and friendly. Some noise from the bar below at night but didn’t bother me.

Stay away from this place. The room i got was nothing like the official photos. It was run-down. Chipped sink. Strands of hair on bedding. Hand soap so watered down that it didn't lather.

Re Really good service from staff and area was really good. The only thing I would suggest that I’ve never had to do it. Any other hotels pay for a towel or pay for a continental breakfast other than that it was great.

This location was a quick last-minute buy due to a delayed flight and missing the ferry to Isla Mujeres. It is conveniently located one block from the ADO bus terminal. I was unable to explore the amenities they listed like co-working spaces and a pool so no comment there but the location was very spacious, nicely decorated and well labelled. For solo travel I felt very safe. The room was cozy but hot until I got the AC going and the sheets were clean but could use a bit of scented fabric softener or something. They smelled clean but slightly metallic, almost like too long in the dryer etc. But that's truly my only comment! The staff were friendly and they upgraded my private room to an apartment after a long and very frustrating travel day. Thank you Selina staff! I appreciate you.

The hotel feel..guests are treated professionally not like many other hostels where they use volunteer & don't know what they're doing & don't handle issues, situations properly..as i had the bad experience here in Cancun just a fee days ago..so Selina is worth the little extra money & be pampered like you deserve!!!

Okay place to stay for a few nights in Cancun. Close to the main attractions in the hotel zone. Lots happening in the hostel at night and a nice vibe from the travellers staying there. Great sunset view over the pool at night. The check in and check out staff were unfriendly and dismissive. Bar staff also seemed disinterested. Breakfast was good, rooms basic but good enough.

I stayed in a private room and overall found it to be a pleasant experience. Yes, it was loud at night with the dance hall next door, but all-in-all the room was clean, linens clean, air conditiong worked very well (This was a blessing after being out in the sun all day), and very close to multiple locations in the downtown area. Lastly, I was happy to see on busier nights they had security working the entrance checking people as they entered (Some people came to enjoy the dancing at the small club area)

Even though they have rooms for single use it’s still a hostel. The staff is not welcoming at all, I stayed there for 4 nights and the rooms were not cleaned once but the most terrible was the loud boomboomboom music until after midnight! So, if you want meet young people and make party with them it may be the ideal place to stay. If you want to chill and sleep without noise then look for something else.

We've stayed at many Selinas in the world - this one is not in the same class as the others, it gives them a bad reputation. This Selina was dirty and delapitated, unkept and the service was not close to comparable to usual staff at selinas. Should not be able to use the same name. Would never stay here again.

you cannot sleep until de party finishes. Even with earplugs. The bass is sooo hard you can feel it everywhere in the room. Also my bed didn't have a plug or either a light, so I didn't be able to charge my devices.. I love Selina chain, but in this case I cannot recommend this place..

With so many other options within blocks, this is the worst place to stay. We complained immediately about water leaking from the light fixtures and random holes in the ceilings. Literal pools of water were constantly on the floor, and both the toilet and shower had mold. Not to mention there’s an actual window (TITTIE HEIGHT IN THE SHOWER… free peep show for those walking on the sidewalk). The front desk staff showed no interest in its guest comfort… like, at all. No one even greets you because looking up from their phones is too much to ask for. Just no.

We changed a booking from a nice hotel to this hostel (a private room) for our last night in Mexico only because of its location very close to the bus station, so that we could reach the airport easily the next morning. Couldn't take advantage of the breakfast as it's served from 7:30 am onwards and we were advised to be at the bus station 20 minutes beforehand, which would leave us 10 min only. The room was alright, nothing fancy, good toiletries but no hairdryer, and unfortunately they didn't help me even at the reception (none in the common showers either). There was a lot of noise throughout the day and evening but I have to say the quiet hours (around midnight) were respected. Looks modern and fun, no frills, but could use some improvements.

I rented a private king size bed room. My room was facing the street and a Restaurant below with loud music, staff were little to no help, seemed disorganized and clueless. While I was in my room some other person that for some reason had keys to my room just opened it out of the blue, definitely caught me by surprise. Also bear in mind that this hotel won’t allow you to drink in your room, so if you want to have a beer or a glass of wine in your Cancún hotel room that would be a no no at this hotel; you are allowed to buy drinks at their bar of course, sounds pretty convenient for them.

Location was perfect accross the street from airport bus ADO station , checkin easy enough room was hot large dorm no one turned on AC . Upon deciding to extend my stay took a small dorm , a few people who has no idea what shearing a room means i requested an even smaller dorm, was informed had to get managers permisson ask to pay 1000 peasos Cash thaugh nothing of it while rushing to change to the new room the receptionist came back to inform me i had to pay another 1600 peasos . I requested the 1000 peasos cash back to put the entire 2600 peasos on a credit card he refused to return it , with rushing to change room i paid 1600 peasos and finished moving however in the back of my mind something did not seems correct getting useto the exchang and all . next day he offered me a free welcome drink receipt ,still not accepting something was not right the next day i sak another receptionist on duty for the cost of my room to be informed it was 1600 peasos when i informed him what his coworker did immedeatly i was blamed for paying cash and not requesting a receipt at the same time told this pearson quit his job the day before 😏 was a very bad experence first if five years tow to three trips per year ! No refund No apologie was ask to write a report , felt the suitation was not handled seriousley gave it to karma to eaven the score 👍 due to the price and covid-19 i stayed two months sheltering two huricanes there a secure building clean and a uesable kitchen . Will never return
