Best location, personnel and amenities.

We enjoyed the full breakfast as other places we have stayed since Covid either have no breakfast or only Continental style. The coffee is especially good and available all day. Front desk personnel were courteous and extremely helpful by answering fully all our questions about Historic Williamsburg. It was also great that Historic Williamsburg is only a few minutes walk away.

Worse hotel I have ever stayed in. We had to change rooms twice. One had blood stains on the curtains and the bathroom door was locked because they were working on the bathroom. The other one had a hole on the wall and another one in the sink. It smell like people smoke in the hallways and the rooms. We booked for two nights and when tried to leave sooner because of all the incovinients, they didn’t wanna refund me our money so stayed for two nights and left right after that. dHonestly, overall we had a terrible experience.

Have stayed a BW in Williamsburg several times. This time was not quite up to par. We asked for a handicapped accessible room and the clerk indicated that the only one on the main floor as occupied. When we checked back later, we were told the occupant had decided to spend another night. They said as soon as it became available, we could move. It never became available and no one ever contacted us despite 3-4 stops at the front desk. In the past, the staff was very accommodating. Not so much now. Communicating in English was also sometimes difficult.

Our stay was okay. It served our purpose. The cost was fair. It was clean and we did not see bugs. The night we arrived and checked in the tub faucet broke off and the water was spraying straight out. The hotel immediately changed our room. The pillows were not the most comfortable but served its purpose. The continental breakfast was good. The location is great. I would stay there again
