Nothing better than being able to back up 6 feet from the room. Makes it easy to bring ski stuff in.

Very nice uneventful stay.

The room and furniture are very nice. Everything is very clean. A simple motel room very well taken care of. We will certainly check availability next time we are in the Catskills.

Charming little motel

Such a charming little motel. It was very cozy and had a homey feeling. Pillows very comfortable and loved the furnishings. Very country feel. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay.

It was as advertised and very clean and highly recommend here. The motel owner was very attentive and informative for me and he saved my days (I passed ski exam). It is easy to go ski areas, not only Windham, but also to Hunter.

Affordable, dated but lovingly maintained. We were looking for basic accommodations for a ski weekend and this was exactly what we needed. Would come back.

8/10 Very good

Overall our stay was great, the only con is the AC wasn’t working properly so it was warm and difficult to sleep. The rooms are a bit smaller than seemed but that’s fine. It’s one of those if you stay here it’s more for 1-3 nights. It is not for a full week or two. The shower is small but everything was great from checking in to checking out Bathroom was very very clean. Definitely would stay again.

I stayed at this motel with my brother to just find a cheap bed while traveling. We expected a run down place we’d put up with for a night. We could not have more wrong. It’s a quaint reminder of simpler times. It’s run by the most adorable older couple. They were so friendly and refreshing. The room had WiFi and a small tv, but was decorated very old school. I felt like I was visiting grandma. This motel feels like home, a welcome change from today’s corporatized hotels. It felt very much like a premium BnB (without the breakfast spread), something people pay exuberant prices for. Only here, it’s an authentic small family business with reasonable prices, rather than some pretentious place gouging your wallet. If that’s up your alley and you're looking for a peaceful place to rest your head in the beautiful mountain scenery of the Catskills, I’d stop here. You won’t regret it. If I’m ever in the area again, I fully plan to do the same.

Great stay. Hope to be back soon

Great 2 night stay. The room appeared newly refaced with rustic furnishings and wood panel walls to maintain its old world rustic feel. Mattresses were new and comfortable, bed and bath linens were soft and clean. New lamps with USB chargers in bases. Room was quiet and temperate. Owner was welcoming and accommodating. Owner took an interest in us and also showed my son how to feed the wood burning stove. Breakfast spread was fairly minimal. Individually packaged yogurt, cereals and crumb cakes with a pot of coffee and hot water for tea. As someone who loves breakfast, I was desiring more options, but it did the job. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

I was greeted by name when I entered the 100 year old building to check in. The proprietor is an elderly gentleman with a wry, wicked sense of humor and he made me and my family feel very welcome. The motel room was exceptionally clean and the towels were very soft and fluffy. This is not a modern place, so, if that is what you are looking for, this is not it. If you are looking for a rustic 50’s style motel room with hot water, warm blankets and a comfy bed with forest/Mountain View’s all around, you have found your home. Breakfast is in the breakfast room in a serve-yourself manner, with coffee, tea, cereal, yogurt, and individually packaged variety coffee cakes/pastries. There are board games and things to read while you eat!😀 I would definitely recommend this place and the charming host!

8/10 Very good

From the minute we walked in the door, we felt like we went back in time! The place felt like it was right out of a set from Mayberry RFD! The husband and wife duo were both super friendly and helpful. Towels were worn thin and the room and towels, etc had a smell of dryer sheets or fragrance. If you have a sensitivity to scents, you may want to find another place or bring your own towels. Having the fridge in the room was a big plus and the value for what we had was fine. Its not luxurious but we liked the location and were only there to sleep! Shower stall was tiny but good water pressure. Just dont drop the soap! Overall, the motel and price did the trick for us. We especially loved having 2 chairs to sit outside our unit with a fabulous view of the tall mountains! If you are down to earth and practical, this is the place for you!

Nostalgic and Comfortable

Delightful place to stay. Had all necessary plug accessibility behind the small table between the beds. TV good, bathroom fine, bed comfortable. Breakfast offerings included coffee, yogurt, cereal, juices. Had a good conversation with one of the owners during breakfast. Would recommend and if I have a chance will stay here againl.
