Nice hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. No street sounds at all. Room was clean and beds were firm comfy. Walking distance from many temples and shrines as well as the central. Many bus lines and train near by. Beatiful area.

Great location between the busier shops and the more traditional areas of Gion. This hotel room was huge compared to some of its counterparts in Tokyo. Comfy bed, great bathroom and shower. Walking distance to trains and buses. Loved it.

No room with a view but a good option for a short

The rooms were as exepected, small compact but definitely clean. The staff was great and friendly, prompt on check out(they’ll call or knock at 10 AM). The neighborhood is ideal as it’s across the bridge from everything, a brisk walk. In terms of culture, across the bridge is more metropolitan and cosmo where the hotel is is definitely a working class community. We also noticed that the street becomes what looks to be lady bars or clubs at night, mainly thurs-sat. So don’t be surprised if you see plenty of Japanese business men by the droves hitting up the clubs.

위치가 너무 좋아서 두번째 방문입니다. 교토 최고의 번화가인 가와라마치라서 데라마치, 기온, 산조까지 도보로 이동가능합니다. 버스노선도 많아 교토지역 어디든 접근이 편리합니다. 교토에서 제일 인기있는 관광지인 기요미즈데라는 걸어갈 수 있고, 아라시야마는 한큐 열차를 이용하면 빠르게 갈 수 있습니다. 호텔로 올 때 오사카쪽이라면 게이한 기온시조역이나 한큐 교토가와라마치역에서 내려서 걸어오면 됩니다. 간사이공항에서 온다면 보통 교토역에서 내릴텐데 짐들고 버스타는것보다 택시로 오는걸 추천합니다(교토역에서 택시요금은 2000엔 안쪽) 이번엔 방이 1층이라 로비에서 바로 들어갈 수 있는건 장점이었지만 창문앞이 막혀있던건 단점이였네요. 이외에 사용한 수건을 복도에 내놓으면 수건은 매번 요청하지 않아도 채워주셔서 편리했습니다. 1층에 세탁기와 건조기가 있고, 대기할 수 있는 공간도 있어서 편리하게 사용할 수 있었습니다.
