It was difficult to find parking, but we got lucky. The area around the hotel isn’t very nice but it’s an easy walk to Ortiz Island, which is absolutely beautiful. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. Not sure it is a 5 star hotel but definitely 4! The room had high ceilings and a tall window looking on to a courtyard. The bed was comfortable. Everything to Ortigia was within walking distance. The roof top patio was a lovely addition and we enjoyed reading and soaking up some sun .. in November which was lovely. The staff were friendly at reception and the breakfast was decent.. particularly enjoyed the coffee. The one thing that we found rather cheap for a 5 star hotel is the minibar offers water complimentary on the first day but after that there is a charge. When a reputable guidebook strongly says don’t drink the water particularly in Siracusa, due to old pipes… ( there definitely was hard water at this hotel with some iron) then it would have been nice to have had water each day.. included!!

Very nice boutique hotel within easy walking distance of all the sights in Siracusa (a few blocks from Ortigia island, and 20 minutes or so from the archaeological park). Surprisingly quiet too, despite central location. Reasonably OK finding (free) on-street parking nearby.

I thought the location was great - 3 blocks from Ortigia. The staff was very accommodating and the rooftop area was very nice. The thing we liked the best was the restaurant. The menu and the execution was outstanding.

We loved everything about this hotel - the location was perfect, the staff was helpful and kind, and thecroom was very clean and had everything we needed. Guiseppi was particularly helpful. We were very impressed with the fantastic breakfast, it was more than we expected. We are big walkers and found the hotel to be located in a perfect location. We would recommend this hotel to others and we would stay here again.

An excellent welcome , staff all helpful & friendly (Andrea especially so at breakfast) . Clean, quiet but close to everything. room lovely, as was the shower room. Didn't use restaurant other than for excellent breakfast. Changed soap/ toiletries when not used much, maybe leave them to reduce waste?

A modernised building with good size bedrooms and bathrooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The evening restaurant is run by a very creative lady chef. The wines and food were expensive. Although the dishes were not large plates of food, quality produce was used and meals were memorable. It is possible to have room only and then add on breakfast or dinner if needed.
