Great place to stay in a lively neighborhood. The street entrance is noisy, and the further you walk, the quieter it gets until you can't hear anything at all once you get to the hotel. The room is spacious, with a kitchen for longer stays. The downsides are: the hotel is old and could do with a bit of renovation, and there's a building across the street that's under construction. You don't stay in bed past 8:00.

Excellent front desk services. Rooms and common areas are clean. Wi-fi okay in my room, maybe better in other areas of the hotel. Location is excellent in very quiet area but 5 minute walk to everything you want. Only negative is that the room lighting needs improvement. Bathroom is dark and no lamps or appropriate lighting for reading in bed.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Room temperature easy to control. Comfort very good with lots of space and the kitchen very useful. Staff courteous. One slight negative was the lack of local information available. I know that these days we are all expected to be using Google or other search engines for our information, but leaflets still are useful. The hotel is situated in a very interesting part of town, plenty of food choices, and a real cultural mix. The nearby park is a haven of quiet away from the traffic noise .
