Being a 50 year traveler I have very little bad to say about this resort. It is quite large with many private sitting and sunning areas. It never feels crowded. the grounds are AMAZING, which makes this place worth staying at, the vibe is great!, there was a wedding one day, the ability to be on an island and walk a few minutes to newport is wonderful, I LOVE newport and highly recommend this property, all that said it is a bit dated and not the most aesthetically pleasing--it was probably a modern property in the 70's, it feels like a true "resort" and not just a hotel

Unique hotel with tons of amenities. Staff was wonderful and the valet guys were fast. Food was delicious and it’s not far from downtown and shops.

Front desk was great, room and location awesome, have stayed there a bunch just a female bartender super grumpy giving us hard time to go to bar near pool when nobody around. We wound up leaving a day early in that was just pretty odd.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It’s a really nice property, beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. My only complaint and suggestion is to have some kind of dining available after 10pm, people have to check in late and there are no food options on the island. Restaurant was closed gift shop closed. Long day traveling and no food available was a bummer especially when the room was so expensive.

Very overpriced

The room was clean and comfortable, however it was very overpriced for the accommodation considering the view from the room was a parking lot and section of roof. The shower was only partially usable as there was minimal water pressure.
