Lovely hotel, the breakfast and dinner were wonderful experiences. Large rooms with seaview. Onsens both inside and outside. We had a rental car and travelled around. We also visited Kagoshima by train. We also enjoyed the shochu buffet at the hotel.

Great onsen (hot spring) ryokan (traditional Japanese style hotel) but not much around. They run some ride service, but you should be prepared to use the taxi, rental car, or bicycle to go anywhere. If you like quiet, it sure is. Hot bath was not too hot, dinner (need reservation) and breakfast was both authentic traditional local Japanese food and was amazing.

Onsen was very good. The dinner was what you expect in a Ryokan (excellent). Breakfast was great but the same for all 3 days. Not many coffee shops or restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and Japanese style. Fresh yukata every day. We would come back again if we came this way.

部屋付きの半露天とバルコニーのコンビネーションが最高！ ゆっくりと思う存分温泉に浸かってから、バルコニーの椅子に座ると、心地よい錦江湾の風が吹いていて、オーシャンビューも相まって癒されました。 更に、夕食の黒豚しゃぶしゃぶの出汁が大変美味でした。 つけダレはありませんが、全く必要ないレベルで出汁の味がしっかりしています。 溶け出した黒豚の脂の甘味もあり、全て飲み干してしまいました。 機会があればまた是非尋ねたいお宿です。

いぶすき菜の花マラソン参加のため宿泊。大会当日朝は会場までバスで送ってもらい助かりました。（電車の本数が少ない）夜中に水漏れするアクシデントもありましたが迅速に対応いただき部屋を換えてもらいました。最上階の大浴場も快適。近くにレストランが少なく、車がないと不便かも。砂むし会館砂楽まで車で１５分程度。朝食はボリュームがありました。
