What a WONDERFUL hotel!!! The self checkin was so efficient. The communication was prompt. The room was fabulous. And I had no idea when I booked what a stellar location. A win win!

11/10 Reykjavík Experience

We had an amazing stay! The location is perfect to explore the best of Reykjavik on foot, but also to catch transfers to see all of the natural beauty. Our tours took us as far as Vik and the Katla Glaciers, and it was so relaxing to come back to our warm comfortable room. And the shower… I can’t explain how much I’ll miss the shower. It’s a spa-like zen experience which is so cleansing after a chilly day seeing waterfalls, ice caves and geysers. On days we didn’t have tours it was a 10-15 minute walk to all of the restaurants and shopping you could ever want. If I could start over and experience it all again I would.

6/10 Good

Downtown Reyjavach

It was difficult to find...you have to pay to park on the street... nearly impossible to find a parking spot anywhere near the place. It is located in the heart of town where all the action is,and you can drink and walk back to your place. There is great food very close outside the door. Very clean.great space. Lots of noise on the street all night. The most uncomfortable beds ever slept on. Felt like a down duve on top of a box springs. Nice kitchenette in the room .

Loved it!

The hotel has an awesome location with lots of restaurants and shops close by. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The communication on how to access the room was timely and easy to follow. We are very happy to have stayed here.

The apartment was very cute had everything we needed. There was a 24-hour Mini Mart right across the street which was very handy for quick dinners or something to drink.

8/10 Very good

Great location for tourist shops , restaurants and convenience stores, downside was the pedestrian noise at night. Would have appreciated a towel change or provided 2 more towels for our 4 night stay.

I prefer hotels because they make your bed and change your towels but this place was pretty cool. Clean, safe, near everything and allowed you to take new towels if needed.
Joseph, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Delux room was as expected, windows and balcony facing backyard so quiet. One can clearly hear neighbour rooms.

Awesome stay

Location location location. This place was right on the main pedestrian commercial drag. We got a suite for a family of four. Fantastic. Don’t leave without coffee & pastries at Sandholt!

Highly recommend 👌

Such a great location.... was able to walk everywhere in reykjavik from such a central location! Really comfy beds after our long flight!!!
Rory, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The property was in close proximity to many different things. I had a self check in and was able to check in early as my plane landed early morning. The property was great but keep in mind it’s in the center of everything so it noisy. Also my sheets that were provided looked very dull.
Tiffany, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

Loved the apartment very spacious and local to all the shops and restaurants, only downside was storage, there was hanging space but not enough draws. Also the tv kept freezing or losing sounds, not a big problem as was on holiday but on the occasion we were watching the six nations it was an issue
Wendy, 4-night trip

Hotel was in a great location for shops, food, and seeing the sights. They worked with us to store luggage and check in earlier. Highly recommend this hotel.

I loved the decor and the communication. The bed was superb and I love personless-checkin. That's where I'll stay in Reykjavik!

Terrific hotel

We stayed twice at this hotel, in two different rooms, and were very happy. The room we had the 2nd night was gorgeous--big windows to look out from, and a small terrace as well. Both rooms served as apartments where you could cook your own food, which can help out a lot in expensive Reykjavik. Of course, you may prefer to pay for the amazing restaurants right in the same few blocks. The only down side was the front door--it didn't always unlock with the code, but we always managed, so not a dealbreaker.
