Had a quick one-night stop at Nobeoka for Takachiho gorge. This hotel was convenient for both travelling by train (1-minute walk from JR station) and by the buses for the gorge (5-minute walk for the bus stop). As an added bonus, the hotel was quite nice. The room was clean and had the essentials: yukatas, kettle, fridge and a comfortable bed. And a surprisingly nice bathroom! The view from window wasn’t the nicest, but I didn’t mind after the trip to Takachiho.

以延岡來說算是一個很方便的地點，位在車站旁邊，房間也沒有其他APA特有的霉味，雖然電梯有點小、小舊，但房間有稍微翻新過，住起來還算舒適，算是不錯的住宿選擇。 從高千穗過來比較晚一些，可能剛好遇到三連休海之日，飯店本身以及周遭的停車場幾乎都停滿，都快要停到1公里外的停車場了，還好等到車站旁；火車站前廣場300元24小時可遇不可求，飯店500日幣停車位早停比較實際。 建議在延岡要早點入住及早去吃晚餐，不然會找不到可以吃的餐廳，但旁邊有一間24小時的家庭餐廳，附近也有開到10點的超市可以去採購一些食品。
