Last min booking and what a great find. The first property through the arch at Car Park 1. Lovely old building. 6 rooms available, ours was room 6 top floor, just stairs and quite tight at the top. Great views across the countryside. Couldn't have been better, will definitely use again.

In the start there were a few misunderstandings and some confusion. Nothing serious. The owner is very kind and responsive. It's a beautiful property and if I'm in the area, I'll stay here again. If you're in the area for tourism be prepared for some moderate-difficult walking.

Each outwardly facing window offer a spectacular view, and the rooms are spacious and clean.There's no elevator, so be prepared to carry your bags up a few flights of uneven stairs.Be careful around some of the furniture though, as some pieces are wobbly, and not too stable.

This hotel is located right at the main gate to the pedestrian zone. The location is perfect. Easy access to everything the town has to offer. Parking is less than a block away. The room was spacious. Only drawback, the room was on the top floor with no elevator & no one to help with luggage upon arrival or departure. Understanding that it’s in a historic building, but an option of an on-site helper would have been appreciated.
