Great location, service and value.

I have used this location as a base a few times. I have stayed in a few hotels in this area and for the money, this is one of the better choices in terms of standard, service and help from the staff. I will continue to use this hotel, should I ever want the same area as a base.

Good value hotel

Booked as an add on to initially a single overnight stay. The staff were very accommodating in moving the 2 bookings together to save the need to check out and back in again. Good value for money, great location, good restaurant and nearby amenities and very attentive staff.

Overnight stay

It was lovely, staff very helpful and friendly, bedroom was compact but comfortable and clean! Meal choice was fab, we ate from the Indian menu and it was terrific! Breakfast this morning was lovely too all freshly made, so nice! The waiter was so lovely he even made and brought me a speciality coffee, over to our table! Really nice touch! Our bedroom had a lovely view overlooking the water, gorgeous today as the sun was shining!

On night stay

Family room number 43. Bathroom roof molded. Overall quite unpleasant. But we got roof on top of our heads for one night. Baby cots does not pay that much, i recommend they should byu atleast few. Somekind of improvements was in the making though...
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The staff were lovely, very helpful. Dinner was great and affordable, same as breakfast. Unfortunately my bed was extremely uncomfortable, could feel every spring in the mattress. I feel the staff should have noticed this when they initially made up the bed. Reported this on my way out.
Lynne, 1-night trip

This is our second stay here and overall we enjoyed our stay, the room is small but the beds are comfy .... The drip outside our room and nosey neighbours were not so good !!

NC 500 trip

Limited parking. Staff not very the most attentive. Room okay but only 1 working socket and bathroom compact. Food edible but not the best. Dog friendly but no where to exercise or any bins. Wouldn't stay again.
Michelle, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Grand Hovel

This old girl is long past her prime. I can imagine back in the day she would have been a grand hotel, nicely located next to the Loch, but today she is a run down hovel managed by rude idiots. The carpets are threadbare, the furniture is threadbare, the place is filthy and I slept in my clothes as I did not want to risk the beds. The fire alarm went off twice during the night and the staff did not know how to manage the process or how to reset the fire doors, which remained activated the following day. After realising the answer to everything was 'No' I stoped asking for things a normal hotel would offer. If you get this at a bargain price and you have your own sleeping bag, then it could work for you like a hostel, but we paid top dollar and it was a repulsive experience.
Carl, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The area was jaw dropping beautful ,

2/10 Poor

Horrible stay

The bed was very uncomfortable, there was wires hanging from the ceiling the floor boards felt like they were going to give way when you stepped on them, there was no shower head, it might have been renovated but not very well The ‘free parking’ is only free if the receptionist tells you that you need to input your details after every time you leave the premises WHICH THEY DID NOT resulting in a lovely parking fine
Ellie, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely location

Lift out of order, again. However they moved us to a ground floor room with balcony, overlooking the Loch. Beautiful but, room very small, no wardrobes and no double glazing. A sleepless 3 night's. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
